Here’s how you can know you will go to Heaven when you die:

Realize that all people fall short of God’s perfect standard.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

Accept that since all people are guilty of sin, everyone deserves death and Hell.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

Understand that we cannot work our way into Heaven – We need to be saved from the consequence of our sins.
“For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift not from works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

Believe God loves you so much that He provided you a Way to go to Heaven.
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Believe that Jesus Christ is the only Way to go to Heaven.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

Believe that Jesus Christ suffered the punishment that we deserve by dying in our place, and then He was raised back to life!
“…Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 …He was buried …He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Believe that the reason Jesus Christ could do all these things is because He is God and He became man.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1
“The Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We observed His glory, the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

Turn away from sin.
“…Unless you repent, you will all perish as well!” Luke 13:3

Turn toward Jesus Christ by trusting Him to save you from your sin.
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” Romans 10:9
